About Us
Our Vision

deepening Faith, finding Hope, and loving Jesus

Foundational Truth: 1 Corinthians 13:13 - Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

FAITH

  • Is the first step to knowing God.  Heb 11:6

  • Is founded specifically and only in Jesus Christ.   John 14: 6

  • We join with God as He draws people to Himself.   2 Cor 5:19–20

  • Is the gateway to to abundant life with God.   John 10:9-10

HOPE

  • We have incredible purpose.   2 Timothy 1:9

  • We have incredible power.   Romans 8:1-2, 11

  • We have an incredible destiny.   Romans 8:16-17

LOVE

  • Love is not vague, but it is God Himself.   1 John 4:16

  • God’s love started our journey toward Him.   John 15:16, Eph 1:4-6

  • It sustains and empowers us in this life.   John 15:4

  • It is the ultimate goal and the only thing that will last into eternity.   1 Cor 13:8, 12-13

Our Values
  • Reaching lost people around us. People without Christ are important to God, therefore, they are important to us.    Matthew 28:19-20; II Peter 3:9

  • Authentic worship that pleases God.   I Corinthians 14:23-25

  • Community. Life changes and loving relationships best occur in the church through small groups.    John 17:20-23; Romans 12:3-5; Hebrews 3:12-14; Philippians 2:3-5; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 3:12-17

  • All followers of Jesus are filled by God’s Spirit and are equipped and called as ministers of grace.   Matthew 28:18-20; II Timothy 2:2; Ephesians 4:11-16; Matthew 10:5-10;  I Peter 4:10-11; I Corinthians 12, 14; Acts 1:8.  “Not one minister, but all ministering”

  • Excellence honors God and inspires people. We define “excellence” as doing the best we can with what we have.  Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 1:12; I Corinthians 9:24-27

  • Biblical unity is affirmed by embracing the diversity within the Body of Christ.   I Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:3-6, 16

  • Global impact is a natural by-product of a healthy church. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; II Corinthians 5:17-21; II Corinthians 2:14-17.

  • Our church (not necessarily our building or gathering) should continue to grow until everyone in Wenatchee is fully devoted followers of Christ.       2 Corinthians 2:14-17, 4:18-20

Our Larger Family
CMA logo1.png

Our church family is proud to be part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Not proud in an obnoxious, we're-better-than-you way, but proud of what our larger family is doing in the US and around the world to bring the peace and hope found in Jesus. We are humbled and excited because we see God at work in and around us.

The name is kind of an awkward mouthful to say, but it's accurate for what we're about. In the 1880's, God moved in the hearts of some remarkable people to share His message of peace in remote parts of the world. Those ordinary people left everything to answer the call and become missionaries. The Christians who stayed behind chose to support those missionaries. Instead of just saying, "God bless you, we'll be praying!" we formed an alliance with them, sharing finances, prayer, training and encouragement. We're still at it today, hence the name.

The U.S. Alliance is part of a Christ-centered global movement more than 6 million strong. Our Acts 1:8 family—inspired by Jesus’ love and empowered by His Spirit—is passionate to bring the good news about Him to our neighborhoods and world.
